Spent the day with Anthony today . No exercise for me just a

little yoga . Could eat some veggies or fruits but I did eat

yogurt. 2g brand has less sugar and still tastes good.

Drank my water,

Really enjoyed Anthony today. He and I even had some playtime.

He loves tummy time, I love watching him get stronger, It was

fun watching him move those arms and legs and smile . not from

gas either.

Hope you had a really fun time today My eye was a little sore from a

shot in it yesterday but so looking forward to seeing better , Keep

those successes coming and keep looking for Hugs, Haooiness and

Old Ways

Old ways won’t open new doors,

Not looking forward to getting a shot in my eye at all, I always get

extensive tearing and pain, Plus i have to watch the grandson this

week. Maybe there will be improvements we shall see,

Quiet day here a short walk . Some reading very glad I can still see

to read, Prayers for people in the path of the hurricane in Louisiana

and Mississippi .Don’t be afraid to change things up, to try new ways.

Expect Nothing

Always expect nothing , and appreciate everything

Today was finally less humid but it was a dark and dreary day .

It was great for me as I went on a lovely hour long walk in the

cooler air. It was really nice not to have to worry about weather

I could make one more lap in the heat. It was so quiet with

just the birds for company . The time flew by and I wasn’t tired

at all . In fact it was just what I needed and my back felt better all

day and my mood was lighter ,

I was able to get all the blankets washed that cover my couches,

5 trips up and down the stairs, with no issues. I also made a huge

batch of chicken chili.

Windows and heart was open all day, Even put on some music to ‘

sing too . that hardly ever happens, i am glad I learned to appreciate

and love the little things.

Some people seem to have a really fun easy life but we

Spent the day taking care of my grandson Anthony . He is

a tiny bit on the fussy side due to acid reflux, Yes and all the

yucky meds he has to take .

He did get me good enough that I had to change clothes and clean

the couch lol,

Most of our day was spent singing . reading , doing our leg

exercises , and dancing,

We are really blessed with the little guy,

May the rest of your life be filled with joy Remember you

can always make your own sunshine ,

I had an early pre surgery appointment which i aced by the way.

I am working on the weight I do realize as the less money we have

the quality and quantity of food goes down . So hoping my eyes

get better after cataract surgery, Got a quick half hour walk in ,

before the humidity took over.

In the afternoon I went and got a super short haircut . I like it

but more of a necessity to keep it from falling out or tangling

in little Anthony’s hands or toes, Will be easier and out of my

eyes for the cataract surgery and after. So hoping to drive

soon and maybe get a part time job

No Quit

When you feel like quitting , think about why you started,

I am going through some tough patches and there is nothing

I can do to make them better,

Hard to be married to someone who wont try, Who spends money

foolishly. Who constantly says later,

Add not seeing well to that mix . No money to get good food,

its all very hard but I wont quit ,and neither should you

Yesterday i spent the day taking care of my two month old grandson,

I got the Anthony workout . No grandma I want to sit up, no i want ‘

to lay down, Can you walk the floors with me no not that way,

I think you get the point.

I was very grateful to do it but man what a long day It was all

worth the smiles and coos ,

Determination is the Key

Wake up with determination and go to bed with satisfaction

Today we have a hurricane headed our way . So we did a lot

of things early to get ready in case the power goes out . We are

determined to be ready for anything that comes our way,

The generator has been checked, gutters are cleaned, The garden

has been picked . Extra ice has been made, Bottled water has been

bought. The wash and dishwasher has been run. I even took a shower

early. We have had a lot of rain earlier this year so the ground is wet

making it easier for trees to topple, The power company said to be

prepared for the power to be out for a week or more depending on

where the hurricane lands,

We have done all we can do , We are ready and hoping for a good

outcome,

That is what you should do in life , be determined , be ready, Then

look out for that great outcome, Keep looking for Hugs, Happiness

Be a River

A river cuts through a rock not because of its power ,

but because of its persistence,

Today I awoke to another uveitis flare. My head was throbbing

my eye sight cloudy and my eye scratchy weepy and painful,

Figures I am supposed to get my cataracts operated on and

now its back trying to steal my sight yet again,

On top of that a hurricane is in our path, set to hit tomorrow .

We have little money or supplies . On top of all that we have

to be at my daughters to watch my grandson Monday at 7 am,

So I have to be persistent in my positive thoughts that all will be

fine, That God has me in his arms and all will be well, Just like

you all do each and every day . Stay persistent in thinking positive

thoughts, happy thoughts , joyous thoughts. Keep looking for Hugs,
